'Flow' is  successful

At the 2024 Cannes International Film Festival, animated films performed exceptionally well. While not in the official competition section, but in the Un Certain Regard section, ‘Flow’ went on to win numerous awards at the subsequent Annecy International Animation Film Festival, eventually even receiving an Academy Award.

‘Ghost Cat Anzu’, a collaboration between director Atsuhiro Yamashita and animation artist Haruko Kuno, was selected for the Directors' Fortnight. This Franco-Japanese co-production adapted Takashi Imashiro's comic of the same name was also submitted to the feature film competition section of the Annecy International Animation Film Festival.

'Flow' is a survival story of a black cat and other animals in a world devastated by a great flood. There are no humans, and no words are spoken. The animals communicate what is happening to the audience through their cries and movements. Gints Zilbalodis directed, wrote the screenplay, and composed the music. You're drawn into its unique world.
